A new capability in CommScope's iTRACS award-winning data center infrastructure management (DCIM) software suite helps address this challenge through capacity forecasting that provides a more solid understanding of data center assets.

iTRACS® DCIM 4.2 extends the user experience of DCIM with the iTRACS Capacity Forecaster™ browser-based engine allowing data center operators to predict, understand and act upon their future capacity needs across the entire physical ecosystem, including power, space (floor and rack), cooling and network connectivity.

According to Gartner's recent Magic Quadrant for Data Center Infrastructure Management Tools report, "Visionaries either demonstrate a good understanding of where the market is going or have a compelling vision about how to change market rules.
